Love Blossoms Between Two (Chapter 3)

LOVE BLOSSOMS BETWEEN TWO. (CHAPTER 3)

After, two whole weeks that felt like months of not speaking the boys couldn't take it. This felt like a war of hearts that nobody could win they felt as if they were drowning in despair and confusion. Until one day when Keith finally figured out how to put his feelings into words, but he wasn't sure how to approach Lance about this, yet he did on a chilly fall night when he ran as fast as he could to their hangout spot. He didn't know if Lance would be there, but he was praying, hoping and wishing that lance would be. He had to tell Lance the truth and explain how he felt as Keith was running he could feel his heartbeat... Every single pound in his chest getting faster. This huge pounding, this huge pressure; every beat got quicker. He couldn't hear it, but he could feel it, and he was nervous, but he knew that he had to end this unfamiliar silence he couldn't help but want lance no need Lance! he was overcoming his biggest fear in this painful war of hearts for the first time in his life he felt heartbreak as he looked up to see the empty forest he felt alone as he began to cry tears of pain, frustration, and heartbreak he felt as if he was stuck in mud yet somehow as if he was drowning in his despair at the same time but as he was sobbing he heard a gentle voice say "K-Keith?" The sad boy looked up to see lance's concerned expression he knew it was time to tell Lance. It was time to tell lance how he felt like he felt like zoning out in lance's bright blue ocean eyes every day in class, how he loved his laughter and silly jokes he knew it was time to overcome this fear as he said "L-Lance! I love you too and it took me a while to finally put my feeling into words and i- I" Keith was cut off by lance leaning down to kiss him. Lance's lips were a pale pink color that somehow reminded him of a flower. The top lip was larger, but not too large, the bottom one was much smaller and softer. As they were making out Keith felt as if the world suddenly stopped leaving just the two of them to stand on the earth together. Everything suddenly made sense again to Keith.
